Party Line Tent Rentals, along with its parent companies, Westchester Party Rentals and Westchester Tool Rentals, wrapped up their 2010 by decking the halls in grand style! The Gala Holiday Tribute was held at the Event Tent at Lyndhurst, one of America’s finest Gothic Revival mansions and National Trust Historic Site located in Tarrytown, NY.

The evening was festive with over 225 invited guests; the focus: embracing time-honored holiday traditions… The evening unfolded with a tour of the castle decorated for the famous Holiday Fairy Tales which transforms 16 rooms into three-dimensional fairy tale themes – sugarplum visions come to life! The trees donned exquisite décor, adorned with Christopher Radko ornaments, the concept inspired by an inventory of children’s books at Lyndhurst. Mulled cider, fragrant home baked cookies and the echoes of a harpist added to the allure. Following the traditional path, horse and carriage rides replete with warm blankets were provided by Frank Castella Events enchanting both the young and young at heart.

Inside the event tent, provided by Party Line Tent Rentals, a winter wonderland enveloped all who entered… winter white drapery lined the interior tent which had clear panels on top, holiday trees were all aglow, a contemporary lounge and game room provided amusement for younger attendees and holiday music filled the air, courtesy of John the DJ. Family portraits were taken by James to provide memories of the occasion, and the fabulous fare was arranged by Philip Stone Catering. Honored guests included the staff and board of directors of Lyndhurst. A 50’ x 100’ a beautiful white Event Tent stands in the Courtyard of The Carriage House. The tent is available for weddings and event rentals from May through December.

See the Article in Rental Pulse Party Line Tent Rentals celebrates 20th year in business Party Line Tent Rentals, the party branch of Westchester Tool Rentals, Elmsford, N.Y., turned 20 this year and Rich Divestea, installation manager, marked 20 years with the company on July 15. Despite a busy day, the company rounded up the half of its crew that was not on the road and had a midday barbecue in its warehouse to celebrate. Kenny and Karin Puff, owners, raised a toast. Anne and Buddy Puff, also owners, told a few funny stories about the early days of the party business, including the time Divestea, who was essentially the only full-time employee, came back to the shop and had just finished unloading the truck of 20 tables and 200 chairs on a long, hot day. Then Anne came out to him with a new order — 20 tables and 200 chairs. He said he never again unloaded the truck without first checking with Anne about new orders.

Welcome 2010 from Party Line Rentals

Happy New Year to All and Here's to a Great year! Some of you may be thinking "and good riddance to 2009!", understandable considering the constant news of doom and gloom, it was tough not to walk around with black clouds over our heads, but we have a job to do and customers to serve! Smile! Life marchs on amid the chaos! People still fall in love and get married, babies are brought into familes and baptised, birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated. If nothing else, 2009 taught us a lesson. Humility. We were reminded we cannot assume. Our customers are savy, reasonable and if you’re lucky, loyal. We learned that our customers know the value of the products and services we provide and so they know that shopping for a cheaper price does not mean getting a better deal and that makes them much more loyal to us and us to them. Winter around here means Heated Tents and general maintanence; we’re busy shucking the warehouse of items that do not pass our quality standards; we’re making a list of items to purchase for the 2010 season, and getting everything in place for a slamming 2010 Party Rental season!

The tent with clear top panels could be seen throughout the live television broadcast of the famous Rockefeller center Christmas tree lighting ceremony and will remain in place through the middle of January 2010 and as needed thereafter.
